“Kathleen was very upbeat and warm, I liked her style and pacing in her workshop. Her ideas weren’t all that unique, but her approach was. Specifically helpful were her writing exercises, which really helped me to crystallize my goals and create an organized game plan towards starting my own business.”

“I was so down after I graduated last year. Working a boring entry level job after earning my business degree - and having to pay back all those student loans - is depressing. Ms. Nelson helped me to tap into my strengths and interests to find new possibilities. With her help I decided I want to start a side micro business using my art training to design logos and websites for small businesses, and maybe grow it to a full time gig. Her patience with me in working out my step by step plan was great. Highly recommend her Build A Bridge workshop to anyone clueless in what they want to do during or after college.”

“I went to so many of these empowerment workshops over the years, when my friend asked me to go to this one I thought ‘oh no, not another one!’ but I went anyway. It started like the rest, the intro bio, we all had to introduce ourselves, blah blah blah. But the way she structured her exercises were different. It’s not that I haven’t heard her questions before, but her delivery was different. She paired us up and had us answer the questions and share with the larger group after. It felt uncomfortable at first, but as we got to share more we saw how much in common we were, and I was able to gain some new insights that I took away from this workshop to help me organize my life. I even made a couple of new contacts who know people I know!”
